How much are we going to get for our property?

In order for us to assess the value properly, we will do a quick in house inspection of your home to help us accurately define the quality level of your property. Payment scale will be based on 1-5 Stars - $100/bed/night for a 2 star up to $140/bed/night for a 5 star home. We will not accept 1 star homes.

What determines the quality of the home?

Functionality, location, age, amenities, service, interior condition, quality of furniture, available space, etc.

How will we get paid?

The payments will be collected from our client, will be held in trust with our lawyers, and then dispersed around time of service.

When will we know if or when our home will be used?

At this point, we are still collecting the information for our clients. Our clients will inform us within 3-4 months from now, with their list of homes that they want to use.

How long do we have to decide and make a decision on this offer?

This offer is limited to the first 2000 qualified rooms or 2 months, which ever comes first. Once we have reached our recommended numbers, we will stop accepting requests and send out our list of homes to our clients for them to choose from.

What if our home is not in Vancouver?

If your home is not in Vancouver, we will still keep a record of your file for other companies and organizations to choose from once we fill all the Vancouver requirement.

We fill homes from the locations closes to our specific locations first, then outwards to the surrounding areas.

What about accidents/damages on my property?

Our clients will be 100% fully ensured. Anything that happens on your property will be covered. We will do an onsite inspection report to verify all the details that you submitted and also will do a condition report before and after time of tenancy, that will be used to prove that the house is in the same condition as you left it.

What happens if there are emergencies with the home such as plumbing leak, broken heater etc.?

We will have maintenance technicians 24/7 ready to go onsite to fix any problems that may occur. But before we make any changes to your home, of course we will have to notify you for permission, or another option is that you take care of the problem using your own resources.

Who are your clients that you will be accommodating for?

These people will be all staff members for the winter games coming from various companies and organizations. The groups or organization's that will occupy your home will be announced to you, as soon as we know who is going to occupy them.

If we live upstairs can we rent out one of the suites, while we live in the other?

NO, the whole property must be available to our clients.

What do we do with all our personal belongings?

It would be a good idea to take all your personal items that you need out of the home, especially sentimental non replaceable items.

What about our fridge and the food?

You can leave your condiments, spices, non perishable items and any other foods that won't go bad if left there for a few weeks. Any other foods that you wish to not be eaten, or touched, or will go bad should be taken out so that there won't be any surprises when you get back home.

Does our home need to be furnished?

Yes, it is required that all suites must be a functional living area, with beds & linens, operational kitchen, seating, and a TV. Washrooms must have some face cloths, towels, and basic needs.

What are the home requirements?

1 bathroom for 2 beds, 1.5 bathrooms for 3 beds, 2 bathrooms for 4 beds etc.

Each bed must be a double or larger. Each room must have a dresser, and the entire unit must have at least one TV. The kitchen has to be functional, meaning a few plates, utensils, and cutlery. The bathrooms need to have a few towels, and face cloths, and some toilet paper.

Is the rental income taxable? Is it tax free?
